I used a pre-scored regular sized oblong card blank the other day and cut it to a square size 'cos I wanted to make a tent topper card - and I was too lazy to measure, cut and score a piece of CS from scratch!
So I had the scrap thin card strip left over and I got to thinking there must be a way for me to use it and then I rummaged in my embellies stash. This card is the result.
I added a strip of DP to the card base, stamped a sentiment and added 3 pink crystals.
The flowerpot is a punched shape and I punched 2 pots. The flowers are die cut using the Cuttlebug Flowers die set and stamped using the PaperTrey Ink 'Beautiful Blooms' set. I die cut and stamped 6 of the large flowers and then sandwiched the wire stems between the flowers and pots. The pot was slipped into the top of the clip and then the clip was attached to the card base. I added a smaller die cut stamped flower with a crystal centre to the pot.
Who'd have thought laziness could be a good thing LOL?! I kept to a CAS style and am quite pleased with how this turned out. I think a cupcake on a clip may be next.
